We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of accounting duties, including preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure timely filing of tax returns and compliance with regulations.
• Conduct internal audits to improve financial processes.
• Coordinate with external auditors.
• Implement and oversee accounting systems and processes.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor financial performance and suggest improvements.
• Train and mentor junior accounting staff.
• Engage with management to ensure financial transparency.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CIMA or ACCA certification is a plus

Experience

• Minimum 3 years experience in an accounting role
