We are seeking a dedicated Childcare Worker to join our vibrant team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for nurturing and educating children in a warm and supportive atmosphere, ensuring their safety and wellbeing while facilitating their developmental growth.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment that supports children's emotional and social development.
• Guide children through daily routines, ensuring structure and safety.
• Plan and implement engaging educational experiences in line with curriculum standards.
• Assess and document children's progress and development.
• Actively participate in team meetings to discuss plans and improvements.
• Build positive relationships with children and their families.
• Engage in continuous professional development.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Early Childhood Development
• Additional certifications in child psychology is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years working in a childcare or educational role

• Child Care Knowledge
• Developmental Activities Planning

• Teamwork

Certifications

• First Aid and CPR certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
