Security Engineer

Job Description

As a Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our information systems. You will work closely with our IT and development teams to identify vulnerabilities and implement security measures. The ideal candidate is proactive and has a deep understanding of cybersecurity practices and tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify and mitigate potential security threats.
• Conduct regular security assessments and penetration tests.
• Implement security best practices and safeguard information systems.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure security protocols are followed.
• Provide training and support to staff on security measures.
• Monitor security logs and respond to incidents.
• Assist in the development of disaster recovery plans.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a cybersecurity role with a focus on security architecture.
