Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have experience in patient care, exhibit strong clinical skills, and successfully work within a team-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings.
• Deliver compassionate care tailored to individual patient needs.
• Administer intravenous therapy and other specialized treatments as required.
• Act as a liaison between patients and physicians for ongoing care.
• Maintain an environment that promotes health, safety, and patient confidentiality.
• Continuously evaluate patient care practices and suggest improvements.
• Assist in training and supervising new nursing staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Postgraduate qualification in Nursing is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of nursing experience in a hospital setting

Technical Skills

• Medication Administration
• Care Planning

• Problem-solving
• Empathy

Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Infection Control Training

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Pediatric Care Experience: Experience in providing care for pediatric patients is a plus.
• Fluent in Additional Languages: Proficiency in multiple languages to communicate with diverse patient populations.
