Job Description

HealthFirst Clinics is looking for a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our Johannesburg location. You will be responsible for conducting patient assessments, formulating care plans, and ensuring comprehensive patient education for optimal health outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patient health status and needs through interviews and physical exams.
  • Create treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
  • Interact with patients to discuss health concerns and treatment options.
  • Use electronic health records to document patient care effectively.
  • Provide health education in both individual and group settings.
  • Participate in creating and implementing clinic policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with specialists for optimal patient care.
  • Assist in research initiatives and clinical trials where applicable.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Nursing or equivalent
  • Nurse Practitioner certification with specialty endorsement is preferable
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in family medicine or pediatrics
