Job Description

As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a pivotal role in managing and developing relationships with our clients. Your responsibilities will include overseeing orders and deliveries, and actively seeking new business opportunities to drive company growth.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients to understand their needs and resolve issues promptly.
  • Review order processing and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Propose new products or services to existing clients.
  • Follow up on leads and convert them into business opportunities.
  • Provide feedback to management regarding customer experiences.
  • Participate in sales meetings and strategy discussions.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and courtesy in all interactions.

Requirements

Education
  • Matric Certificate / Diploma / Degree in Sales, Marketing or Business Administration
Experience
  • 2-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in a B2B environment.
Technical Skills
  • CRM software proficiency (Salesforce, Hubspot, etc.)
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Soft Skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
Languages
  • English: Fluent
  • Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

  • Fluency in multiple languages including English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry: Prior exposure to manufacturing business practices would be beneficial.
