Job Description

We are looking for a Retail Manager to oversee the operations of our Port Elizabeth store. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, customer service, and team leadership. You will be responsible for driving sales, optimizing store operations, and ensuring a top-notch shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily store activity and performance metrics.
• Develop staff training programs focused on customer service excellence.
• Maintain high visual merchandising standards in the store.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and customer preferences.
• Liaise with suppliers for product orders and inventory management.
• Enhance operational efficiency through process improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Matriculation (Grade 12)
• Diploma in Retail Management is an advantage

Experience

• 5 years in retail, with at least 2 years in a management position

Technical Skills

• Customer Relationship Management
• Visual Merchandising

Soft Skills

• Time Management
• Conflict Resolution

Certifications

• Certified Retail Manager (CRM)
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic
