Job Description

We are seeking a proactive IT Support Technician to join our Johannesburg team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that clients receive exceptional technical support. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of IT software and hardware, be a great problem-solver, and work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to and manage incoming IT support requests effectively.
  • Identify recurring issues and work towards solutions to prevent further occurrences.
  • Keep software and systems up to date with the latest patches and upgrades.
  • Assist with the management of IT inventory and supplies.
  • Engage in continuous learning to stay current with new technologies.
  • Provide feedback on system performance and suggestions for improvement.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in IT or related field
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or Information Technology is advantageous
Experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in technical support
