Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Clinical Pharmacist to join our dedicated team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be responsible for managing patient medication therapies, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring optimal medication use. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of pharmaceutical care and a commitment to patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Manage comprehensive medication therapy for patients.
• Participate in multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Provide drug information and counseling to patients.
• Assist in training and mentoring pharmacy staff.
• Evaluate and implement quality improvement initiatives in pharmacy services.
• Conduct regular audits of medication safety practices.
• Document patient care activities in line with pharmacy standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
• PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences is an advantage

Experience

• 4+ years of clinical pharmacy experience preferred
