Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Researcher to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will collaborate with scientists and healthcare professionals to design, conduct, and analyse clinical research studies. The role requires a strong understanding of research methodologies and compliance with regulations, as well as the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct literature reviews to support study design and methodology.
  • Monitor and evaluate study processes for compliance and quality.
  • Assist in developing proposals for grant funding.
  • Train and supervise research assistants and interns.
  • Coordinate with external partners and regulatory bodies as needed.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with industry trends.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences or a related field
  • Postgraduate qualification in Clinical Research is advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in medical research or clinical trials
