As a Tax Consultant at Tax Experts Ltd., you'll be at the forefront of delivering exceptional tax services to clients in Durban. Your role will include preparing tax returns, advising clients on tax strategies, and ensuring compliance with South African tax laws. Responsibilities

• Educate clients on tax treatment of various income streams.
• Manage and mentor junior tax staff and interns.
• Compile and analyse data for tax return preparation.
• Ensure timely payment of taxes and compliance with deadlines.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation
• Professional qualifications (e.g., CTA, CIMA) preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in tax consultancy or compliance

Technical Skills

• Corporate Tax Law
• Tax Software

Soft Skills

• Client Management
• Analytical Skills

Certifications

• Accredited Tax Advisor (ATA)
• SARS Tax Practitioner registration

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

• Skills in financial modelling: Ability to create financial models for tax scenarios.
