Mental Health Clinician

Job Description

We are looking for a Mental Health Clinician dedicated to supporting clients with mental health challenges. You will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing support in a collaborative environment aimed at promoting mental wellness.

Responsibilities

• Deliver effective psychotherapy and counselling services.
• Evaluate and monitor client progress regularly.
• Engage in ongoing consultation and supervision.
• Participate in case reviews and treatment planning sessions.
• Support clients in developing coping strategies.
• Advocate for clients within the healthcare system.
• Contribute to community outreach and mental health awareness initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with ethical standards and regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Psychology or Social Work
• Registration with relevant professional body

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in mental health

• Clinical Assessment

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with mental health legislation: Awareness of the legal aspects related to mental health practices in South Africa.
