The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems, conducting product testing, and optimizing processes for efficiency and safety. Responsibilities

• Oversee the full lifecycle of mechanical product development from concept to completion.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new engineering projects.
• Ensure that designs meet both aesthetic and functional specifications.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including technical specifications and reports.
• Collaborate closely with manufacturing teams to support production processes.
• Engage with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of components and materials.
• Implement cost-reduction strategies in mechanical design and production.
• Provide mentorship and support to junior staff within the engineering team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.) designation is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on mechanical design experience

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Project Management Tools

Certifications

• Lean Manufacturing Certification
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in robotic automation systems: Experience with robots and automation technologies to improve manufacturing processes.
• Strong understanding of mechanical vibrations analysis: Knowledge of vibrations and their effects on mechanical product performance.
