Shoe Machine Operator and Tender

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Shoe Machine Operator and Tender to join our production team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of shoe machinery while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Setup and adjust machines for each production run.
• Conduct regular quality checks for finished products.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Assist in training new operators as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels of materials and report shortages.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals.

Requirements

Education

• Matric/NQF Level 4 qualification
• Technical qualification in machinery operation is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment.
