We are seeking a dedicated Public Health Officer to join our team in Durban. This role involves implementing public health programs, conducting community health assessments, and collaborating with local organizations to enhance health services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public health principles and local health issues.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate health screenings and immunization campaigns in the community.
• Develop strategic plans to address public health challenges.
• Evaluate community health needs and devise improvement strategies.
• Collaborate with research institutions for health studies and projects.
• Stay updated on public health trends and legislation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or a related field
• Master's degree in Public Health is a major advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of demonstrated experience in public health initiatives
