Architect

Job Description

Join us as an Architect where you'll lead exciting design projects in Cape Town. We are looking for an individual who is skilled in using design software and has a solid understanding of building codes and regulations. You will work closely with clients and contractors to bring architectural visions to life.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative design concepts for new projects.
• Review and approve project plans and proposals.
• Coordinate with engineers, landscape architects, and other professionals.
• Manage budgets and ensure cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
• Address and resolve project-related issues proactively.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior architects and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in architectural design

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Revit

Soft Skills

• Strong communication
• Creative problem-solving

Certifications

• Registered Architect

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in sustainable design practices: Knowledge of environmentally sustainable design principles.
• Familiarity with local zoning laws: Understanding of zoning regulations in the Western Cape.
