Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage drug therapy for patients.
• Educate patients on medication usage and side effects.
• Prepare and compound medications as needed.
• Implement quality assurance measures in pharmacy operations.
• Facilitate medication therapy management programs.
• Document and report adverse drug reactions appropriately.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent
• Postgraduate qualifications in clinical pharmacy preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in community pharmacy

• Patient Counseling
• Regulatory Compliance

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Leadership experience: Experience leading pharmacy initiatives or managing pharmacy staff.
• Specialization in geriatric pharmacy: Knowledge and experience in providing pharmaceutical care to elderly patients.
