General Practitioner (GP)

Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated General Practitioner (GP) to join our healthcare team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating diverse medical conditions, delivering comprehensive care to patients and guiding them in their health journey. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of clinical practices and display compassion toward patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive examinations to ensure accurate diagnosis.
• Manage a diverse patient load effectively and efficiently.
• Coordinate care with nursing and allied health professionals.
• Implement treatment regimens based on current best practices.
• Address patients' concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Facilitate patient access to necessary health resources.
• Participate in internal reviews and quality assurance initiatives.
• Lead health promotion workshops in the community.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical qualification
• Postgraduate degree in Family Medicine is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a general practitioner role.
