General Practitioner (GP)

Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated General Practitioner (GP) to join our healthcare team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating diverse medical conditions, delivering comprehensive care to patients and guiding them in their health journey. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of clinical practices and display compassion toward patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of patients.
• Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions.
• Provide preventative care and health education to patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams in developing treatment plans.
• Stay updated on the latest medical guidelines and protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Participate in community outreach programs to promote health awareness.
• Support and mentor junior medical staff.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical qualification
• Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in primary care or similar roles.
