We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Cape Town office. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and analysis of structures ensuring they adhere to safety, quality, and sustainability standards. The role involves working alongside architects and contractors to deliver high-quality projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities

  • Lead engineering designs and technical assessments for new projects.
  • Evaluate and recommend materials for construction based on design needs.
  • Review and approve project plans before implementation.
  • Conduct feasibility studies for proposed projects.
  • Collaborate with local authorities for project approvals.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets and timelines.
  • Support quality assurance processes during construction.
  • Promote best practices for health and safety on-site.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering
  • Master's degree or specialization is an advantage.
Experience
  • At least 6 years of structural engineering experience preferred.
