Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will be involved in the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems. This role requires a high level of technical expertise along with strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage mechanical design projects from concept through completion.
  • Develop and implement test plans for mechanical prototypes.
  • Work collaboratively with clients and stakeholders to define project requirements.
  • Review and approve technical drawings and specifications.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for mechanical systems.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements.
  • Participate in risk assessment and management activities.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Master's degree is an advantage
Experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in a mechanical engineering role
