We are seeking a skilled Actuarial Consultant in Durban to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will utilize their expertise in actuarial science to evaluate risks and develop pricing strategies for our insurance products. You will play a vital role in ensuring our offerings remain competitive while maintaining profitability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular reviews of existing pricing strategies and make necessary adjustments.
• Work closely with technical teams to ensure accurate pricing and underwriting processes.
• Develop and maintain actuarial models for forecasting and financial projections.
• Communicate complex actuarial concepts to non-actuarial staff.
• Prepare and submit reports for regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for data collection and analysis.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or related field
• Fellowship in a recognized actuarial society is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in actuarial roles within the insurance sector
