Telecommunications Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing support for telecommunication systems and services.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of installations and recommend improvements.
• Liaise with vendors for equipment procurement and technical support.
• Keep abreast of technological advancements in telecommunications.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Telecommunications or related field
• Relevant certification (e.g., Cisco, CompTIA) is beneficial

Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in telecommunications

• Telecommunications Systems

• Analytical Skills

Certifications

• Certified Telecommunications Network Specialist (CTNS)
• CCNA or equivalent

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with VoIP systems: Hands-on experience with Voice over Internet Protocol technologies.
• Project Management Experience: Understanding of project management principles in telecommunications.
