We are seeking a knowledgeable Tax Consultant to join our Durban office. The successful candidate will provide expert tax advice, ensure compliance with local regulations, and assist clients in navigating complex tax issues. Strong analytical skills and a passion for taxation are essential.

Responsibilities

• Draft tax returns and ensure timely filing with local tax authorities.
• Research and analyze tax issues to provide sound advice.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and recommend adjustments in client tax strategies.
• Provide training to junior staff on tax compliance and best practices.
• Manage a portfolio of clients and maintain strong client relationships.
• Assist in developing internal tax policies and procedures.

Advantageous

• Experience in VAT consulting: Expertise in value-added tax regulations and compliance.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Afrikaans: Fluency in both English and Afrikaans is an advantage.
