Job Description

We're looking for a skilled IT Support Technician to join our Johannesburg team. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, providing user support, and maintaining IT systems. Ideal candidates should have hands-on experience in IT support and excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to support tickets and provide timely resolutions.
  • Help users understand and utilize software tools effectively.
  • Perform system backups and assist in disaster recovery operations.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies.
  • Document best practices and troubleshooting guidelines.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant degree in IT or Computer Science
  • Certification in ITIL is a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in technical support roles
