We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will manage daily financial transactions, maintain accurate financial records, and assist in generating financial reports. Responsibilities

• Review and maintain financial records to ensure compliance.
• Update and maintain customer and vendor databases.
• Prepare financial data for management reports.
• Collate and analyze financial information for budgeting.
• Provide support during the financial audit process.
• Maintain records of fixed assets and depreciation.
• Assist in developing financial forecasts and budgets.
• Serve as a point of contact for financial inquiries.
• Implement and enforce financial policies and systems.
• Support the finance team with any ad-hoc projects.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
• Relevant degree or certification preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a bookkeeping role.

• Bookkeeping Software

Certifications

• ACCA or CIMA Qualification (desirable)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience using advanced Excel functions: Comfortable with complex Excel functions for reporting and analysis.
• Experience with financial modeling: Ability to create financial models for budgeting and forecasting.
