Cybersecurity Engineer

Job Description

We want you as our Cybersecurity Engineer! You will be at the forefront of protecting our digital ecosystem. This role encompasses developing security protocols, conducting risk assessments, and responding to security incidents. You will also mentor junior team members and contribute to the overall strategy for improving our security posture.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer security tools and solutions.
• Ensure efficient traffic logging and monitoring.
• Perform regular assessments of network security.
• Develop and implement disaster recovery plans.
• Stay updated on threats and develop countermeasure strategies.
• Create awareness of phishing and social engineering attacks.
• Collaborate on research projects for new security technologies.
• Reporting security posture to senior management.
• Evaluate and recommend security products and services.
• Facilitate incident response training for IT staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field
• Relevant industry certifications (CISM, CEH) are a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of direct cybersecurity experience

Advantageous
