UX Designer

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate UX Designer to join our team in Durban. You will be responsible for creating intuitive and engaging user experiences across various platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for design and a strong understanding of user-centered design principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead UX design workshops to foster innovative thinking and collaboration.
• Analyze user feedback and analytics data to iteratively improve designs.
• Define and maintain a cohesive and engaging user experience across all platforms.
• Participate in regular design critiques to refine concepts and ideas.
• Collaborate with marketing to ensure consistency in user engagement.
• Document design specifications and create style guides for developers.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
• Master's degree would be advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in UX design

Technical Skills

• Figma
• Adobe XD
• HTML/CSS

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Certified Usability Analyst (CUA)
• UX Design Certification from a recognized institution

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in agile methodologies: Familiar with Agile practices and working in a cross-functional team environment.
• Proficiency in user testing tools: Hands-on experience with tools like UsabilityHub and Maze.
