Join our dynamic civil engineering team as a Structural Civil Engineer in Bloemfontein. The candidate will engage in the design, analysis, and implementation of structures while collaborating closely with architects and contractors. This position is essential for maintaining high standards in construction practices and delivering quality within budget constraints.

Responsibilities

• Oversaw the structural integrity of designs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluate project bids and provide technical assessments.
• Speak with contractors to ensure accurate implementations of designs.
• Assist in preparing project documentation for regulatory approvals.
• Manage multiple projects and timelines to ensure successful delivery.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering preferred

Experience

• 6+ years of experience in structural design and analysis

Technical Skills

• SAP2000
• Revit

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Creativity

Certifications

• Chartered Engineer (CEng)
• Member of the South African Institution of Civil Engineers (SAICE)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with seismic design codes: Knowledge of seismic regulations and best practices.
• Advanced 3D modeling skills: Proficient in tools and software for 3D modeling.
