Job Description

Join our dynamic accounting team as an Accountant. You will play a vital role in financial reporting, tax calculations, and providing strategic financial insights. We're looking for someone with a strong accounting background, sound financial judgment, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records.
• Oversee the preparation of monthly financial statements.
• Monitor financial transactions for accuracy.
• Liaise with clients regarding financial queries.
• Conduct variance analysis and reporting.
• Prepare tax returns and submissions.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Support the finance team in day-to-day operations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Chartered Accountant or similar certification is advantageous

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience

Technical Skills

• Accounting software (e.g., Pastel, SAP)
• Excel

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Communication skills

Certifications

• CIMA or equivalent certification
• Tax Practitioner certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of IFRS regulations: Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards is beneficial.
• Experience with tax regulations: Prior experience in tax compliance and planning is advantageous.
