Responsibilities

• Analyze tax documents and ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Provide strategic tax planning and consulting services to clients.
• Review financial statements and tax returns to identify discrepancies.
• Assist clients with personal income tax filings as needed.
• Prepare responses to tax correspondence and inquiries.
• Coordinate with financial institutions for accurate reporting.
• Manage client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and compliance.
• Train junior staff on tax regulations and compliance standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Master's degree in Finance or equivalent is a definite plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in tax-related roles

• Knowledge of Local Tax Laws

Certifications

• Statutory Auditor (SA)
• Member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA)

Languages
