Responsibilities

• Prepare and file tax returns for corporate clients.
• Advise clients on tax-related issues and financial strategies.
• Stay updated with current tax regulations and changes in the law.
• Conduct tax research to support compliance and minimize liabilities.
• Assist clients with tax audits and resolve tax disputes.
• Maintain accurate and detailed client records and documentation.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive financial advice.
• Develop tax planning strategies for corporate clients.
• Monitor deadlines and ensure timely submissions of all tax filings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Master's degree in Finance or equivalent is a definite plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in tax-related roles

• Knowledge of Local Tax Laws

Certifications

• Statutory Auditor (SA)
• Member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Knowledge of Accounting Software (Sage, Pastel): Proficiency in commonly used accounting software enhances efficiency.
