Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Ophthalmic Medical Technician to support our ophthalmology team in delivering high-quality patient care. This role involves conducting diagnostic tests, maintaining clinic equipment, and working closely with patients to provide an exceptional experience in eye healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Perform various diagnostic tests including visual field tests and imaging.
  • Document and monitor patient reactions to treatments and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure patient comfort and satisfaction.
  • Assist with inventory management of medical supplies and equipment.
  • Implement infection control measures and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Assist in training new staff and interns on procedures and protocols.

Requirements

Education
  • Matriculation certificate
  • Diploma in Optical Dispensing or equivalent qualification
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role is preferred
