Tax Consultant

Job Description

We are looking for a qualified Tax Consultant to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of South African tax regulations and demonstrate strong analytical skills. You will be responsible for providing tax compliance, advisory, and planning services to our diverse clientele.

Responsibilities

• Manage the preparation and filing of various tax returns.
• Consult with clients regarding tax-efficient strategies.
• Evaluate and implement tax compliance programs.
• Research and analyze complex tax issues and provide solutions.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Draft correspondence to tax authorities on behalf of clients.
• Stay abreast of changes in tax legislation and advise clients accordingly.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Master's degree in Taxation or related field is a plus.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in tax advisory roles.

• Corporate Taxation

Certifications

• Certified Tax Consultant (CTC)
• Chartered Accountant (CA) is a plus.

Languages

• English: Fluent
