Job Description

We're on the lookout for a detail-oriented Tax Specialist to join our team in Bloemfontein. As part of our firm, you'll be responsible for preparing tax returns, providing tax advice, and representing clients during audits. You'll engage closely with clients to ensure they leverage all available deductions and credits, ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in tax-related matters and queries.
• Conduct tax audits and develop strategies for compliance.
• Review partnership, corporate, and individual returns to ensure accuracy.
• Provide insights on tax deductions and credits applicable to clients.
• Manage and maintain client records efficiently.
• Prepare tax documentation ensuring all materials are current.
• Develop tax proposals for client engagement.
• Serve as the primary contact for client relationship management.
• Stay abreast of trends and changes in the tax industry.
• Participate in professional development opportunities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Postgraduate qualification in Taxation preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in taxation
