Job Description

Join our dedicated team as a Veterinarian in Bloemfontein, where you will provide high-quality medical services to pets, undertake surgical procedures, and advise owners on animal health and nutrition.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of animal health.
  • Administer vaccinations, dental cleanings, and preventative treatments.
  • Monitor animal recovery post-surgery and provide follow-up care.
  • Implement best practice guidelines for patient care.
  • Guide pet owners in making informed decisions about their pets’ health.
  • Facilitate training to veterinary technicians and interns.
  • Participate in client meetings to foster strong relationships.
  • Document treatment plans and results accurately and promptly.
  • Encourage responsible pet ownership and advocacy.
  • Support clinic marketing efforts to promote services.

Requirements

Education
  • DVM or equivalent degree
  • Specialisation in internal medicine or surgery is a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in veterinary practice
