Job Description

We are searching for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team in Durban. This role involves delivering comprehensive patient care, performing assessments, and executing treatment plans while ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and manage health issues and provide preventative care.
  • Deliver health education sessions to patients and staff.
  • Promote holistic health approaches and lifestyle changes.
  • Work with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Review and update clinical policies and procedures.
  • Actively participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
  • Initiate referrals to specialists when necessary.
  • Engage in research activities and evidence-based practice.
  • Report on patient outcomes and quality measures.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all patient information.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) preferred
  • Board Certification in a specialized area (e.g., Family, Pediatrics)
Experience
  • 5+ years of clinical experience preferred
