Job Description

We are seeking an innovative AI Research Scientist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. You will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge AI models and algorithms to solve complex challenges. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, data analytics, and AI technologies.

Responsibilities

• Drive AI research initiatives and lead projects from concept to implementation.
• Design and execute experiments to validate machine learning models.
• Analyze large data sets to extract actionable insights.
• Document and publish research findings in reputable journals.
• Collaborate with product teams to refine AI features based on user feedback.
• Develop and maintain documentation for AI methodologies and processes.
• Engage with the academic and research community to stay updated on best practices.
• Lead discussions on AI ethics and responsible AI development.
• Contribute to grant writing and funding proposals for research projects.

Requirements

Education

• Master's in Artificial Intelligence or a relevant field
• PhD is highly advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in machine learning research
