We are in search of a Mechanical Engineer to join our skilled team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the design, development, and implementation of innovative mechanical systems. Responsibilities

• Lead design projects from concept through to completion.
• Analyze project requirements and specifications.
• Implement engineering best practices in the design process.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and clients.
• Review and approve designs prior to production.
• Work on prototyping and testing of new designs.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables effectively.
• Ensure project compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
• Document engineering changes and maintain accurate records.
• Engage in research and development to innovate new products.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Master's Degree in Engineering Management is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years working in the mechanical engineering field

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Project Management Software (MS Project, Asana)

Soft Skills

• Time Management

Certifications

• Six Sigma Green Belt
• Lean Manufacturing Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
