Backend Engineer

Job Description

As a Backend Engineer, you will design and implement scalable components, maintain code quality, and improve the overall user experience. This position requires a strong understanding of server-side technologies and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code using Node.js.
• Collaborate with product teams to design and build new features.
• Maintain high standards of software quality by establishing good practices and habits.
• Research and integrate new technologies and tools to improve development efficiency.
• Contribute to the architecture and design of software systems.
• Engage in brainstorming sessions and team collaboration to define project requirements.
• Participate in functional testing of applications prior to deployment.
• Provide support and maintenance for existing applications.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in backend development

Technical Skills

• Node.js

• Database management (SQL/NoSQL)
• Version control (Git)
