Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and emergency examinations of animals.
• Diagnose animal health issues and prescribe appropriate treatment.
• Perform surgeries and dental procedures as necessary.

• Keep accurate records of animal health and treatment plans.
• Work collaboratively with veterinary nurses and support staff.
• Participate in continuous professional development and training.
• Administer vaccinations and medications as required.
• Perform laboratory tests and analyses.
• Manage and oversee the care of hospitalized animals.

Advantageous

• Experience with exotic animals: Knowledge and experience in treating exotic pets will be an advantage.
• Certification in Animal Behavior: Certification in animal behavior or training is a plus.
