Pharmacist

Job Description

As a Pharmacist at our Durban location, you will utilize your expertise in drug therapy to enhance patient outcomes. This includes reviewing and verifying prescriptions, providing counseling on medication regimens, and actively participating in community health promotions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards.
• Educate patients on potential side effects and interactions of medications.
• Participate in community health events and outreach programs.
• Manage inventory and ensure the availability of medications.
• Address any inquiries and concerns from patients regarding their medications.
• Support the pharmacy team in day-to-day operations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in a pharmacy setting preferred

• Experience with compounding medications: Ability to prepare custom medications for patients.
