Job Description

We are searching for an experienced Healthcare Administrator to join our collaborative team in Durban. This role will involve managing healthcare operations, ensuring compliance and quality control, while also playing a critical part in financial management and organizational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operational activities within the healthcare facility.
  • Ensure adherence to health policies and procedures.
  • Monitor financial activities and allocate resources judiciously.
  • Manage a diverse team of administrative and healthcare professionals.
  • Evaluate and improve healthcare delivery systems.
  • Maintain effective communication with patients and families.
  • Carry out risk assessments and manage compliance issues.
  • Direct administrative workflows to promote efficiency.
  • Advocate for quality improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders to enhance service delivery.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
  • 4-5 years of experience in healthcare management or administration preferred
