Job Description

As a Doctor (Physician) with our organization, you will ensure comprehensive care for our patients in Johannesburg. You will work closely with specialists and staff to provide integrated health services.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive health screenings.
• Provide referrals to specialists when necessary.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure quality care.
• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Educate patients and their families regarding health issues.
• Keep current on the latest treatments and healthcare innovations.
• Participate in community health outreach programs.
• Document all patient interactions and outcomes.

Requirements

Education

• Qualified as Medical Doctor (MBChB or equivalent)
• Specialization in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Patient care protocols
• Health assessment techniques

• Teamwork
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Board Certified in Family Medicine

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Fellowship training in advanced medical practices: Completion of additional fellowship in a related field is an asset.
• Research experience: Previous involvement in clinical research or academia is a plus.
