We are seeking an Environmental Engineer to join our dynamic team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in environmental assessments, compliance reporting, and the development of sustainable practices. This role involves working closely with clients to ensure environmental standards are met and maintained, while promoting eco-friendly initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental assessments and compliance activities.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their environmental needs.
• Develop strategies for waste reduction and resource efficiency.
• Conduct training and awareness programs for stakeholders.
• Prepare cost estimates for environmental projects.
• Monitor project implementations to ensure compliance.
• Research new technologies and methodologies for environmental protection.
• Assist in the preparation of funding proposals for environmental initiatives.
• Review environmental reports and provide feedback.
• Participate in community engagement and awareness activities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in environmental engineering or related roles
