We are seeking a dedicated veterinarian to join our team at Local Veterinary Clinic in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and the ability to provide high-quality medical services. As a veterinarian, you will diagnose and treat various animal ailments while providing excellent customer service to pet owners.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results.
• Work with a team to design and implement health care plans.
• Manage and order inventory of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies.
• Engage with pet owners to facilitate communication and trust.
• Participate in community outreach and education programs.
• Stay updated on the latest veterinary medical practices and technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor in Veterinary Science or equivalent
• Specialist qualifications in areas like surgery or dermatology are advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a clinical setting

Certifications

• Advanced Canine and Feline Nutrition Certification

• Familiarity with veterinary software systems: Experience with management software used in veterinary practices.
