Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to join our team in Windhoek. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and overseeing construction projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards. You will collaborate with other professionals to deliver efficient and sustainable engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design and execution of structural, transportation, and environmental projects.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and mitigate any issues.
• Ensure that all projects adhere to environmental regulations and sustainability practices.
• Coordinate with municipal authorities for necessary approvals and inspections.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering roles

• Civil 3D
• Construction Management

Certifications

• ISO 9001 Certification
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• German: Conversational
