Security Engineer

Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Security Engineer to protect the integrity of our data. You will work closely with our IT team to create secure systems and respond promptly to security incidents.

Responsibilities

• Architect security systems to prevent unauthorized access.
• Respond swiftly to cybersecurity incidents and breaches.
• Manage security software and system updates.
• Participate in the creation of incident response plans.
• Work with compliance teams to ensure regulatory adherence.
• Guide security best practices among employees.
• Research new security technologies and implement them.
• Assist with IT auditing processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or Information Security
• Master's degree in Information Security is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity

• Firewalls

Certifications

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of ethical hacking practices: Understanding of hacking strategies to better defend against them.
• Experience with DevSecOps practices: Familiarity with integrated security practices in the DevOps lifecycle.
