Job Description

We are seeking skilled Floor Sanders and Finishers who have a proven track record in repairing and refinishing various flooring types including wood, tile, and concrete. The successful candidates will be detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality standards and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform refinishing and restoration services on flooring.
• Prepare and sand surfaces before finishing.
• Apply stains and sealants to enhance the appearance of floors.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
• Follow safety protocols while performing duties.
• Assist in training junior staff members.
• Document completed tasks and report any issues to management.
• Potentially work with commercial clients on larger projects.
• Attend team meetings to discuss project progress and challenges.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Relevant trade qualification in flooring or carpentry preferred

Experience

• Minimum 3 years experience in floor sanding and finishing.

Technical Skills

• Sanding and refinishing
• Maintenance of flooring tools

• Time management
• Interpersonal skills

Languages

• English: Fluent
