Job Description

As a Building Inspector, you will be tasked with conducting thorough inspections of properties, ensuring that all construction works meet both local and national regulations. Your role is vital in promoting safety and quality within our projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial buildings.
• Review blueprints and construction plans for compliance with codes and regulations.
• Prepare inspection reports and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Ensure that construction practices comply with safety regulations.
• Communicate findings and issues to project managers and contractors.
• Keep abreast of changes in building codes and regulations.
• Conduct follow-up inspections to verify corrections.
• Assist in training junior inspectors and staff.
• Provide expert advice on building standards and procedures.
• Attend site meetings to provide clarity on safety and compliance standards.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Civil Engineering, Building Science, or related field
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years experience in building inspection or a related field
