Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Structural Engineer to join our team in Bloemfontein. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, analyzing, and implementing structural systems for various projects ranging from commercial buildings to residential homes. You'll collaborate with a dynamic team of professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural frameworks for buildings and other constructions.
• Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for projects undertaken.
• Conduct structural assessments and feasibility studies.
• Collaborate with architects and contractors to meet project objectives.
• Ensure that all designs comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Review and approve project submissions and calculations.
• Oversee construction phases and ensure quality control measures are adhered to.
• Engage in project management tasks as required.
• Keep up-to-date with industry standards and new technologies.
• Provide technical advice and support to junior engineers.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in structural engineering or related field
