Job Description

As a Civil Engineer with Engineering Solutions Ltd., you will play a key role in the planning, design, and execution of various infrastructure projects in Johannesburg. We are seeking a motivated individual who is passionate about engineering and eager to contribute to sustainable development solutions. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative solutions for complex engineering challenges.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation.
• Remain current on best practices and emerging technologies in civil engineering.
• Support environmental assessments and sustainability initiatives.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide training as needed.
• Engage with community stakeholders to address concerns and feedback.
• Assist in public presentations regarding project updates and impacts.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or relevant field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of civil engineering experience, with a focus on infrastructure projects.

Technical Skills

• SAP2000
• STAAD.Pro

Certifications

• Civil Engineering Technician Certificate
• Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent
